Mediterranean Forest

Groves are relatively flat, lightly-forested biomes.

Description

The grass colour is a mixture of dark green and a slightly lighter green.

Vegetation

Pear-shaped poplar trees cover the biome, either in Birch or Dark Oak versions. Oak bushes with Flowering Oak Leaves also spawn. Many flowers and plants spawn here, including: Clovers, Anemones, Dandelions, Poppies, Peony, Oxeye Daisies, Wheat Grass, and Berry Bushes.

Mobs & NPCs

Villages will spawn in this Biome. The wood of generated villages is replaced with Spruce wood when they spawn in Groves. Passive mobs spawn in this biome naturally.

Survival

Survival in this biome may prove a tad bit challenging, as it provides little cover for mobs during the day yet has plentiful food and wood.
