The Land of Lakes is a watery forest biome, or often simply a forest.
Description
This biome features islands and large lakes, although these do not always spawn as they are determined by the sub-biome Land of Lakes Marsh. There is a lot of Mud on the shores, as well as Gravel. It is a representation of realism showing mixed forest in North America having larger percentage of deciduous over coniferous trees. Just like in the real world it has lots of streams and lakes and occasional patches of marshland.
Vegetation
The forest in this area is primarily Oak and Spruce Trees. Grasses a scattered about, as well as Wild Rice and Reeds.
Mobs & NPCs
Passive mobs spawn in this biome. There are no Villages.
Survival
Survival here can be a bit difficult here due to the large amount of water and forests. Mobs can hide under the forests and it is not easy to get around this biome.

- This biome represents the forests of northern Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan Sort of.
