The Lush Savanna, previously called Poppy Field, as its name suggests, is a field full of poppies, rose bushes and sprouts. Around the landscape, blotches of ground can instead be made of coarse dirt. Survival is not easy here, as they only way to obtain wood is to find a mineshaft, and no passive mobs spawn here, making it a bad starting biome. However, this biome often spawns near a Lush Desert, so there maybe be a way to get wood.
History[]
It was added in 1.15.2, possibly replacing the Flower Field in 1.12.2.
The biome was renamed to ''Lush Savanna'' in 1.16.4
