Prairie

The Prairie biome is largely flat, with grassy plains and oddly-shaped Oak Trees. Its sub-biome is Pasture.

Description

This sloping grassland boasts Berry Bushes, flowers and an abundance of tall grass interwoven with sparse oak trees. The oak trees are shaped like mini versions of some spruce trees, but use oak wood and oak leaves. Silty Dirt is generated in this biome.

Vegetation

Flowers, Tall Grass, Wheat Grass, Trees, Flax, Portobellos, and Berry Bushes dot the landscape. Goldenrod is found here frequently.

Mobs & NPCs

Most Vanilla passive mobs spawn naturally in this biome. Villages can spawn in this biome as well.

Survival

The lack of many hiding places during the day makes aggressive mobs less threatening.
