The Woodlands biome is a basic forest biome.
Description
This area is very similar to the Vanilla forest biome, although some aesthetic changes like leaf color, fallen logs and toadstools have been added. There are also no Birch Trees in this biome. Woodland Mansions can spawn in this biome.
Vegetation
Basic Oak Trees make up the foliage, and there are lots of Dead Leaf Piles beneath them. Small plants include: Poppies, Wheat Grass, Flat Mushrooms, Flax, Oxeye Daisies, Shrubs, and the occasional Berry Bush.
Mobs & NPCs
Both Villages and Woodland Mansions can spawn here. Common passive mobs spawn in Woodland.
Survival
It is one of the easiest biomes for survival due to the plentiful supply of wood and logs. Like other forest biome's, farm animals are common but can be hard to track in the dense biome. It is a great biome for survival beginners, but beware of the Poison Ivy that can spawn here.
